Endocrinologist

Dr Yuliya Manova

Dr. Yuliya Manova is a specialist in endocrinology and diabetes with more than 15 years of experience. She graduated from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria in 1998 and subsequently obtained qualifications in Internal medicine in 2004 and Endocrinology and diabetes in 2008, Sofia, Bulgaria.

From 2008 till February 2014, she worked as an endocrinologist at the University Hospital of Endocrinology „ Acad. Ivan Penchev”, Sofia, Bulgaria, department for thyroid and metabolic bone diseases and in private medical practice, dealing with a variety of endocrine and metabolic conditions.

Since June 2015 she was granted a Clinical fellowship at the University Colleague London Hospital, Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes which provides specialist tertiary services to a large geographical area, reviewing patients with a variety of endocrine conditions such as pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, osteoporosis, calcium and phosphate abnormalities, vitamin D deficiency, PCOS, early menopause, testosterone deficiency, lipid disorders, and diabetes mellitus.

She has got teaching experience – tutoring medical students and has been participating in local, regional, and international conferences with poster presentations. She is a member of the British Society of Endocrinology, the European Society of Endocrinology, and the Bulgarian Society of Endocrinology.

She has got detailed and patient-centered approach, working with empathy and professionalism.
